I've thought about trying the Wordpress for iPhone app, but haven't bothered yet. I love the idea of mobile blogging, but I am such a perfectionist that I can't stand the limitations of the smartphone platform and always draft my blogs in Notes and then email them to myself for formatting and publication on a desktop machine.

If the iPhone app for WP is better than the Blogger email system (it has to be!), I might have found a new time-waster for my phone.

This is all well and good, but what about an equivalent app for WebOS? With first quarter sales numbers established, we know full well that Palm is slowly re-asserting itself as a major player in the smartphone market thanks to it. Programming for it is perhaps unparalleled in its simplicity. And, most importantly, the open nature of the system itself, and the newly announced self-verification of centrally distributed apps makes doing so a no-brainer.

That sounds like a cool plugin. I really could have used that in the past few years before I found out about the software. I actually still might check it out.

I use a nice plugin for my wordpress blog called wp-phone. It gives me a a choice when I login whether or not to use the mobile interface. It is pretty slick as a matter of fact.

I usually just compose some sort of draft on the phone and then finish editing it and putting pictures to it on my site before actually posting it.

Good software choice.
